Hello once again from Denver!
I see that we have had some new visitors over the last few weeks… (Yes I use a free program called Google Analytics…
Anyway, Welcome to our site! I hope the information you find here helps you get a glimpse into what we do in Youth With a Mission.
This week has been very busy for us. We have been working hard on our support raising campaign and really working hard at the base.
I, Mark, am working on a few different pastoral things at the base and also prepping everything for the next Phase II School Of Ministry Development. (Reading Applications, Communicating with new students and Setting up the 3 month long curriculum)
Maritza has also been leading our staff ministry team, doing graphic design projects for the base’s advertising needs and taking on a new role as the speaker coordinator for all of our 14 training programs and their individual speakers and teachers (about 50 different teachers).
We are about 5 weeks into this summer quarter (in our lives, we measure everything by quarters). It has certainly provided a lot of challenge so far!
Please pray for us as we:
+ Raise support
+ Raise our awesome kids : )
+ Step into new roles of leadership at the base
Thank You so much!!!!
With love, from Denver
Mark & Maritza and the Kiddies
PS. Another Request would be for Myself and Maritza as we teach. Maritza is going to teach in our School of Biblical Foundations on The “Wisdom” books. (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon) and I am going to teach the Discipleship Training School for a week on The Fear of the Lord and Discipleship.
Thanks!
We’re at our mountain campus enjoying some time with all ofthe other staff couples! 14 couples in all!!
A few days ago Seth, Samuel and I went to the park near our house. Finally it’s warm enough to go outside and stay out for longer than 10 minutes : ) I have to say, living in a third floor condo with no real outdoor space gets a little crazy with two little explorers! It some times feels like they might wear holes into the wood floor from walking back and fourth so much!
Anyway, here are some photos from our time outside! I tried to take some good ones… although, it’s not always easy when the boys are going in separate directions all the time… It’s always the question of, Who should I go after first? Who is in the worst immediate danger?? then it’s off running, grab one, then chase down the other! It’s great exercise.
So, it’s been about two weeks since we welcomed our daughter, Tirzah, into the world! Seth and samuel, our twins, are getting a kick outta being the “big brothers”!!! It’s fun to watch!
Anyway. Just wanted to post this up to let you know that all is very well. Maritza is recouperating well and Tirzah is growing fast and well!
Thanks a lot for your prayers as we move forward and adjust to our crazy life here in Colorado!
Blessings to you,
Mark
